Our First Post

As our due date approaches and everyone continues to ask about our growing family, I figured we would join the bloggers (not to mention its 4:30 am and I cant sleep). For those who dont know, Craig and I are expecting our first baby on August 27th. We have kept the gender a surprise, but after tallying the votes the majority of friends and family are leaning towards a little boy. 50/50 shot, I guess we will find out soon...I hope soon anyhow.

I went to my 37.5 week doctors appt Tuesday and everything checked out. We are slowly making progress, 1.5 cm and 70% sitting at -2 (if you dont know what that means, you may not care to). I havent had any real contractions yet, or that I know of anyhow. I am much more comfortable than I thought I would be at this stage, but that doesnt seem to give me anymore patience as I wait to meet this little one that I have been carrying for the last 9 months. I feel ready and am confident in my body, we are just waiting on Baby Bush now.

I resently got a camera from my parents for my birthday, so I hope to post a couple pictures of my tummy and baby items soon. I will keep you all posted on any progress or new arrivals
